2. Bus transport data analysis app.
I developed a desktop application for the Rice University Transportation Department to monitor/manage the university’s bus service utilization. Data such as trip/route duration and passenger occupancy, which is manually entered by bus drivers on their routes, is transferred to a database from a mobile app on each bus. I developed the application to query, analyze, and save graphical/numerical summaries of the data. I developed the app. using R code, ggplot2, and the GIMP Toolkit.
